Frank Grotesque was a personal exploration to better understand the systems and architecture at play within a typeface.
Frank Grotesque is sans serif typeface that marries the slightly more behaved styles of traditional letterforms with the more shapely quirks of the present day modern neo-grotesque styles. This blending of styles creates a typeface that masks its unique attributes under a neutral and serious front. Frank Grotesque is a Frankenstein of fonts that pulls inspiration from LL Circular, Founders Grotesk, Akzidenz, from foundries such as Klim, Lineto, and Monotype. Frank grotesque comes in a single regular weight that is intended for use in a multiplicity of functions ranging from body copy to display.
